2001.12.13 第11回Movie:Harry Potter
STORY：ハリーポッターは、赤ん坊の時に両親を無くし、おばの家で冷遇されて暮らす少年。ある日、 ハリーに不思議なな手紙が届けられる。それは、ホグワーツ魔法魔術学校への入学許可証だった。 両親が魔法使いだったこと、自分も魔法使いであることを知ったハリーは、ホグワーツ校に入学する。 そこで、ロンやハーマイオニーといった同級生の友達ができ、学校に隠された秘密を知るが、、、。

[Int. Cottage by the sea. Past midnight on Harry's birthday. Haglid breaks into the cottage in which Harry and his aunt's family are staying.]
Vernon: (To Haglid) I demamd that you leave at once, sir! You are breaking and entering.
Haglid: Dry up, Dursley, you great prune. (To Dudley) Mind, I haven't seen you since you were a baby, Harry, but you're a bit more along than I would have expected, particularly round the middle.
Dudley: (Terrified) I'm not, I'm not Harry.
Harry: I, I am.
Haglid: Well, of course you are. Got something for you. 'Fraid I might have set on it at some point, but I imagine it'll taste fine just the same. Ah. Baked it myself, words an'all.
Harry: (Receiving a birthday cake from Haglid) Thank you.
Haglid It's not every day your young man turns 1 now, is it? Eh?
Harry: Excuse me, but um, who are you?
Haglid: Rubeus Haglid. Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. Of course, you'll know all about Hogwarts
Harry: Sorry, no.
Haglid: No? Blimey, Harry, didn't you ever wonder where your mum and dad learned it all?
Harry: Learnt what?
Haglid: You're a wizard, Harry.
Harry: I, I'm a what?
Haglid: A wizard. And a thumping good'un, I'd wager, once you're trained up a little.
Harry: No. You're made a mistake, I mean, I can't be a, a, a wizard. I mean, I'm just Harry. Just Harry.
Haglid: Well, Just Harry, did you ever make anything happen, anything you couldn't explain, when you were angry or, or scared? Uh-huh.
Harry: (Reading a letter that Haglid has brought) "Dear Mr. Potter, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry."
Vernon: He will not be going, I tell you. We swore when we took him in, we'd put a step to all this rubbish.
Harry: You knew? You knew all along and you never told me?
Patunia: Of cource we knew. I mean, how could you not be? My perfect sister being who she was. Oh, my mother and father were so proud the day she got her letter. "We have a witch in the family. Isn't is wonderful?" I was the only one to see her for what she was. A freak! And then she met that Potter and then she had you, and I knew you would be the same. Just as strange, just as ... abnormal. And then, if you please, she went and got herself blown up and we got landed with you.
Harry: Blown up? You told me my parents died in a car crash.
Haglid: A car crash? A car crash killed Lily and James Potter?
Patunia: We had to say something.
Haglid: It's an outrage! It's a scandal!
Vernon: He'll not be going.
Haglid: Oooohhh, and I suppose a great Muggle like yourself's going to stop him, are you?
Harry: Muggle?
Haglid: Non-magic folk. (To Vernon) This boy's had his name down ever since he were born. He's going to the finest school of witchcraft and wizardry in the world, and he'll be under the finest headmaster that Hogwarts has ever seen. Albus Dumbledore.

[屋内。海辺の小屋。ハリーの誕生日の午前零時過ぎ。ハリーと彼のおばさん一家が滞在中の小屋にハグリッド が乱入する]
Vernon: (ハグリッドに) 今すぐ出て行っていただこう！家宅侵入罪だぞ。
Haglid: 黙れ。ダーズリー、イヤなやつめが。(ダドリーに)さてと、赤ん坊のとき以来あっていなかった が、ハリー。俺が予想していたよりちょっとおっきいな。特に腹の辺りが。
Dudley: (おびえて) ぼ、僕はハリーじゃないよ。
Harry: ぼ、僕がハリーだ。
Haglid: おう、もちろんそうだろうさ。お前にあげるものがある。さっき尻に敷いちまったかもしれん が、味はかわらんだろう。ああ、俺が焼いたんだ。文字とかも全部。
Harry: (ハグリッドからバースデーケーキを受け取って) ありがとう。
Haglid 息子が11歳になるわけじゃないもんな。だろ?
Harry: あのう、だけど、あなたは誰?
Haglid: ムビウスハグリッド。ホグワーツの鍵と領地を守る番人だ。もちろん、ホグワーツについては 全て知ってるだろう。
Harry: ごめんなさい。いいえ。
Haglid: こりゃ驚いた、ハリー、お前の母さんと父さんがどこで色々学んだろうって思ったことは ないのか?
Harry: 学んだって何を?
Haglid: お前は魔法使いだぞ、ハリー。
Harry: 僕が、なんですって?
Haglid: 魔法使いだ。ちょっとばかし訓練をつめば、めちゃくちゃ優秀な魔法使いになるって賭けてもいい。
Harry: いいえ。何かの間違いです。つまり、僕が、ま、ま、魔法使いなはずないもの。僕はただのハリーです。 ただのハリー。
Haglid: じゃあ、ただのハリー、何か、何か自分でも説明できないことを起こしたことはないか? 怒ったときとか、怖い思いをしたときに?あるだろうが。
Harry: (ハグリッドが持ってきた手紙を読む) "親愛なるポッター殿、あなたがホグワーツ魔法魔術学校 に入学許可されましたことを、ここに喜んでお伝え申し上げます"
Vernon: この子は行かせないぞ、いいな。こいつを引き取ったときに、こういう下らんことを全て おしまいにするって誓ったんだ。
Harry: 知ってたの?ずっと知っていたのに、僕に話してくれなかったの?
Patunia: もちろん知ってたわ。だって、そうでないわけがないもの。わたしの、そりゃまあよく出来た 妹がそうだったからね。あーあ、妹が入学許可証を受け取った日には、母と父ときたら、えらく自慢してたよ。 「我が家に魔女がいるなんて、素晴らしいじゃないか」ってね。あたしだけが妹のほんとの姿を みてたの。化け物よ！やがて妹はほんとの姿を見てたの。化け物よ!やがて妹があのポッターと出会って 、お前が生まれたの。だから、おまえも同じになるだろうってわかってたわ。同じように 奇妙で、同じように、、、異常だって。それから、あえて言えば、妹は吹き飛ばされちゃって、わたしらがおまえ を引き取るはめになったのさ。
Harry: 吹き飛ばされた?父さんと母さんは自動車の衝突事故で死んだといったじゃない。
Haglid: 自動車事故?自動車事故ででリリーとジェームスポッターが死んだ、だと?
Patunia: 何か言っとかなきゃならなかったのよ。
Haglid: とんでもないことだ!侮辱だ!
Vernon: こいつはいかせないからな。
Haglid: ほぉう。それで、お前が見たいなご立派なマグルがこの子を引きとめようってわけか?
Harry: マグル?
Haglid: 魔法使いでない連中のことさ。(バーノンに)この子の名前は生まれた時からずっと入学 名簿に載ってたんだぞ。この子は世界一の魔法魔術学校に入り、ホグワーツの歴代校長の中で最も優れた アルバスダンブルドア校長のもとで学ぶんだ。（次回はShrek）
